About squibblefu

INTRO

Hi, I'm Amy, the awkward potato behind squibblefu! I aim to make my products diverse, ranging from original designs to fanart of animes, video games, and kpop groups. I love experimenting with new styles and types of products, so you'll never get tired of seeing the same things here~

I'm a full-time artist based in Atlanta, Georgia and I vend my merchandise at conventions and other similar events all around the US.

BACKGROUND

Art was always a hobby of mine and anything I did could be traced back to the arts: singing, playing instruments, dancing, musical theater, drama, etc. I had always wanted to pursue illustrating professionally, but having been deterred by both family members and teachers in my past, I never entered art school. But, as fate would have it, I found friends in the art community again when I reached the end of my college years that made me recall how much I loved to create with my own hands.

Thanks to the encouragement of newfound friends and my older brothers, I was able to take hold of art and shape it again into my career path. After struggling to get my bachelors degree in Computer Science and working a few years in the industry, I was finally able to make art full-time in March of 2020. Now, I'm working tirelessly to improve and expand my art!
